Duff Goldman Signs New Food Network Deal

Duff Goldman is staying put at his longtime TV home Food Network.

The Ace of Cakes has signed a new multiyear, multiproject pact with the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned brand, covering both currently airing series, like Goldman’s beloved “Baking Championship” franchise of seasonal competitions, and upcoming titles, including the upcoming holiday event series “The Elf on the Shelf: Sweet Showdown.”

Among Goldman’s other recent Food Network series are “Ace of Taste,” “Cake Masters,” “Dessert Games,” “Buddy vs. Duff,” “Duff Takes the Cake” and “Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time.”

Goldman began his long Food Network career in 2006 with the hit series “Ace of Cakes,” following him and his team at the iconic Baltimore bakery Charm City Cakes.

“With this new deal, we’re expanding our collaboration with Duff and bringing more of her unique talents and expertise to our viewers,” Betsy Ayala, head of food content at Warner Bros. Discovery, said. “Food Network fans of all ages have come to recognize Duff Goldman not only for his impressive cakes, but also for his charming abilities as a judge across our sweets competitions.”

Goldman added: “To continue to be a part of the Food Network family after all these years is awesome. For me as a chef, Food Network is home. Baking for, inspiring, educating and entertaining audiences is what motivates me and being able to do this for many years to come is a dream come true.”

A bestselling cookbook author, Goldman will next be seen co-hosting the new season of “Halloween Cookie Challenge” when it debuts Sept. 25 at 10 pm ET on Food Network, followed by judging “Holiday Baking Championship,” premiering Nov. 6 at 8 pm ET. Both shows will also stream on Max and Discovery+.
